- The possession or use of illegal drugs, fireworks, alcohol, tobacco, and electronic nicotine delivery systems (c-cigs, vaping devices, etc.) is prohibited.
- Violence of any kind, including but not limited to sexual violence, will not be tolerated.
- No discrimination or harassment will be tolerated.
- Hazing of any kind is prohibited. Bullying including verbal, physical, and cyberbullying, is prohibited.
- Theft of property will not be tolerated.
- Possession and/or use of firearm, explosive, explosive weapon, bowie knife, hawk bill knife, ice pick, dagger, slingshot, leaded cane, switchblade knife, blackjack, knuckles, or any other weapon of like kind is prohibited.
- Misuse or damage of Tennessee Tech property is prohibited. Charges will be assessed against those participants who are responsible for any damage or misuse.
- Inappropriate use of cameras, imaging, and digital devices is prohibited, including the use of such devices in areas where privacy is expected by participants.
- Attend all sessions
- Except during check-in and check-out, no visitors are allowed during Boys State. Absolutely no one outside except Boys State participants and staff are allowed in the residence halls.
- Participants must comply with all security measures and procedures specified by the Tennessee Tech Office of Residential Life.)
- Participants may not be released from the Program to anyone other than individuals listed on the Consent and Accommodations form.
- Curfew is 10:30 p.m. unless extended by the Director of the Tennessee American Legion Boys State.
- Vehicles are not permitted to be driven by delegates during the Boys State Program. Keys for vehicles driven by delegates must be turned in during check-in.
- Vehicles of delegates must be parked in the area specifically designated for the Boys State Program.
- Boundaries- Delegates may not cross 7th Street, Willow Avenue, 12th Street, and the railroad tracks east of the formation area unless accompanied by ALBS staff members. Any construction areas on campus is off-limits.
ALL ALBS DELEGATES ARE REQUIRED TO REMAIN ON THE TECH CAMPUS AT ALL TIMES. DO NOT LEAVE THE CAMPUS WITHOUT WRITTEN PERMISSION FROM THE DIRECTOR.
